It's only been two weeks since I last posted, and Olivia has already gone through a world of change. She is now sitting up completely on her own, and it has made her so much more independent. I've been looking forward to this time for a while. Crawling is next, and as exciting as it is going to be, THAT will make my life harder :)
Olivia has discovered bubbles, and she approves. We bought her Gymboree brand bubbles, and they are really cool because the "formula" is thicker, so the bubbles don't pop very easily. Our entire living room floor will actually end up covered in bubbles, and you can catch them without popping them either.
At daycare, they keep all the toys in little baskets, and at home, that is the only way she will take them. So we have to pile her toys in a container for her to take out one by one and play with. Of course, her favorite "toy" at the moment is her wipes. When changing her diaper, we now have to keep them out of her sight, or she will scream until she gets them. The bigger problem is, once she gets them, she invariably starts screaming a few minutes after playing with them. I think she gets frustrated because she can't figure them out.
