We were able to spend the night of Christmas Eve in Salem, which let us spend all Christmas day there, as well. Olivia had so much fun playing with presents and spending time with her grandparents. She also played out in the snow for the first time. There was a lot of snow, but it was so hard, that she really just slid right across the top of it.
We headed back home on Christmas day, where we welcomed my parents who drove out from California. Olivia opened even more presents, and our floor was literally covered with new gifts. One of Olivia's favorite gifts was a fuzzy white chair that is just her size. My parents stayed with us for the next week, and although Jeremy and I had to work some that week, she was able to stay home with them and their dogs all week. She had such a blast.
We spend New Year's Eve and New Year's day with my extended family in Bountiful. Once again, Olivia was treated like a star and enjoyed every minute of it.
It was a really nice holiday season for us, and I particularly enjoyed all the extra help we had around. I was able to rest and relax and not worry about most of the everyday little things that tend to make pregnancy so much more miserable. Thanks to everyone for all they have done for us this holiday season!
