Trying to Get Back on Track, Part 1

On Valentine's Day, we took Ellie in to get ear tubes put in. She has had recurrent, horrific ear infections, and we were hoping we would see the same dramatic improvement with her that we saw with Olivia. She did overall really well before the procedure, considering she hadn't eaten all day and was a little bored.

Right after the surgery was pretty difficult. She had a really hard time coming out of the anesthesia. She screamed and flailed for about 15 minutes, until they gave her a medicine to help reverse the effects faster, and then she was back to herself in about another 5 minutes. And the surgery worked! She hasn't had another ear infection since.

We got a membership to the local children's museum, and I am really wishing we would have done it sooner. The girls love to go.

Olivia took her first trip to the dentist.
